“Slow Down “ Campaign
In your summer travels, many of you may have seen the Slow Down, My mommy works here, or Our daddy works here signs.
Winvan Paving in partnership with Worksafe BC was involved in the “Slow Down” Campaign for the 2007 summer traveling season.
Winvan originally featured 3 of our traffic control people and their children. Their pictures were mounted on 4X8 poster boards, the poster boards then onto plywood which were erected on our more stationary job sites.
The feedback around this campaign has been very positive. It is bringing more awareness to the traveling public that the workers on our construction sites have the same right as they do to go home safe to their families at the end of their work day.
